Okay, was reading this remark by a Professional Network Administrator here:
http://astraltraveller.wordpress.com/2011/05/20/the-witcher-2-initial-experience-is-troublesome/

and he/she makes a valid point. He/she couldn't register. I'm glad I haven't tried yet. Been too busy with work. But the idea that a GOG buyer has to register to get the DLC seems a bit redundant. A GOG user is already registered with GOG/CD Projekt Red (unless its gifted I suppose). I mean, they know who I am, they have my payment info, which is about as registed as you get these days. Why make GOG members go through hoops. I suspect it has to do with it being easier on developers and use an automatic downloader but that is not working consistantly by all reports I've read. It would be nice, especially for those who preordered via GOG, to be able to just have the content added to the list of downloadable files via GOG.

So many people who make software for MS Windows like to "phone home" without asking first, including MS so I keep my MS Windows XP box offline. I like to download files on my Linux box and then copy from them. Been doing that with all my GOG games. I've tried to register through the website but no joy. Gog developers, can you give us GOG buyers access to the patches and DLC through direct links. Please and thanks.

Oh, one more thing. This Facebook fan for DLC content, please tell me that is available to the rest of us later who don't really use or have facebook account. These hoops, again, its becoming increasingly irritating for many GOG users whose loyality you've gained in the past 2 years.
