Hi,
I am on my thrid play through and for some reason I apear to have so many problems now I can barely play the game. The weird thing is I didnt have a single issue until I installed 1.2.
Now I can rarely lay traps or throw grandes/ daggers, or cast signs they simply dont work, they will if I bash the button a couple of hundered times, then one of 2 things will happen.
A: Controls lock until I take damage or B: there will be a werid delay sometimes with a nade at the end sometimes not (again first 2 play throughs, this didnt happen)
Harpy traps are another major issue, I lay a trap the harpys just stand there. I can literally stand right next to them and they dont do anything, they just stay in place, dont attack and the traps dont do anything.
On occasion I cannot change weapons, for example act 2 vergen, there are some kedweni soldiers and harpys, I usually cant change weapon until I run away, then I can change sword. (some times) other time I just attack with the wrong weapon, takes longer but it works eventualy.
Another annoying issue is the map, which wont actually show where I am, for whatever reason I cant move the map to where I am.
Then theres the "attack does everything" issue, sometimes I cant loot dead enemys, other times I loot them when Im trying to attack, climb a wall thats behind me, open a door that im nowhere near or put out/ light a torch, all the while getting my ass handed to me. (bad design choice given the fact we all have about 85+ keys on our keyboards! and this isnt even a port?!)
The problems just came from nowehere, after 2 full play throughs with no issues, its weird the game is now almost unplayable, It was OK until I got to vergen and then it all started to go wrong.
On top of that I randomly get black screens coming out of the inventory/ journal and the game will have for up to 10 minutes when I exit. (these are not as much of a problem, pretty rare and doesnt effect the game that much)
This is mainly just intended as an FYI, Im thinking of uninstalling and trying to run the game with only the 1.1 (If Its available for download seperately) and I assume If I launch the game without the launcher it shouldnt auto update?
Also Im wondering if it could be something to do with the amount of saves you have as the issue just seemed to get gradually worse until it became too frustrating to continue playing.
Any tips or advice would be much appreciated, hopefully I can get it working again.
