Hello,

I play on normal mode, using i5 8600k, 16 Gb RAM, GTX 1060, I ve no lag problem at all. I m not using any mod, just using the regular game I bought on GOG.

Here is my problem : I struggle a little but still always manage to chop 3 tentacles of the beefy guy. I did it both with and without the Kayran trap.

But, after I chop these damn tentacles, the event where I m supposed to ride a tentacle NEVER occurs. I m there spamming roll and quen like an idiot, never dies but stays there forever. =(

If someone solved that problem already, I ll be glad to hear how.

For reasons of clarification:

If you have cut off the third tentacle, run to the top of the separated part and stay there (save zone!) awaiting the Kayran's tantrum then this will not happen?

Well, i stayed around the chopped part and the only thing I got was more bashing from the left tentacles...I m gonna try what you just advised and will report my result to you ;)

You can always try to reload an earlier save. Maybe something bugged itself. Verifying game files through Galaxy is also an option.

Hello friends, thank you for helping me. So I chopped the last tentacle (on the right cos I sadly copied what I saw on youtube lol), stayed there, and then still nothing happened !! The other tentacles still try to smash me and the event does not start....

I used an older save like you wrote but it did not change anything.

So here I am, stuck in a swamp facing a stupid Kayran with 3 chopped tentacles, who continuously tries to flatten me like a pizza...

Well, I m sad and frustrated cos I really enjoy the game.....I m gonna try and try until I get bored.....I might even try to uninstall/reinstall and start from beginning......

I will let you know, thank you very much for the time you took to help me =)

Before you do so:

1. Did you follow Safaran's advice and verified the game files? (GOG Galaxy -> More)
2. If you upload a savegame before entering the Kayran-arena and give us the link I'll have a look at it. Afterwards we'll know if you own a corrupt savegame...

Yes I verified the game and everything was allright.....

I finally did it, after I chopped a 4th tentacle.....Then I stayed there and the event occured.....Everything else went fine.

I can't say, but maybe now 4 chopped tentacles are required ?

Whatever, let's consider this solved, thank you to all of you who answered me ;)
