i still think we need a way to stay in the fight longer without resorting to Quen (even then it does not keep you in some fights for long). because at some point the roll spam start happening. and rolling like that just seems like they forgot to give us something that will allow us to stay alive without it, personally i dont like moving away from the enmy unless im springing a trap or am reading a bomb, maybe even a back-stab. but it should not be the staple defence tactic.
1. I have imported a save from The Witcher and I had the Raven armor but in and after cut scenes Geralt was wearing the Blue Stripes jacket and the armor enhancements I put on Raven armor disappeared.

2. When meeting with Loredo and leaving the swords in the chest at the gate, when I picked them up again all the runes from both of them were missing.

A couple of things I just thougt about after finishing a second playthrough, this time going the Iroveth route:

1.) Put a black background behind the icon telling us to rapidly click the left mouse button. There was one place (sorry, I forgot where) where the icon happened to appear over a stone floor that was illuminated by a fire and the color of the icon blended in almost perfectly with the flamming orange color of the floor and I had no idea I was being prompted to do a QTE.

*EXTREMELY minor spoiler, I don't think this is a spoiler, but just to be safe*

2.) On Iroveth's path in Chapter 2 where Geralt needs to sneak through the Kaedwini camp at night, make the prompt to use the Axii sign on the cook appear at the same time the cook spots you and starts begging you not to hurt him, no matter how far away from him you are. I can't even count the number of times I thought that this meant I was spotted and had to restart this stealth section. Very frustrating.
Let us select the number of potions to be brewed, then hit 'brew' and we're done. The way it is now, you have to wait a few seconds.... after.... each....one. For some reason there's....you guessed it, some LAG involved. :)

Truly, this game is lag-tastic. Lag-erific. Lag-alicious. Lag-expialidocious. I think it hails from Laggle rock.

:P

Uh, no offense. You could have at least waited to see what happened (until "Game Over" screen appears) - unless, you're playing on Insane?
1. The prologue problems of stuff equipped unequipping and disappearing during the prologue. (Do not enhance your armor.)

2. Apparently oils don't work on silver swords.

3. There are two poker players in Vergen that can give you stuff other than coin. One is a quest item, the spear head of some such, but you can play for other treasures and the Poker Face quest end guy you can get meteorite ore: they don't work. The quest item gets added to your inventory, but none of the other items; neither the meteorite, nor the guy's other items if you win them.

I did continue playing after he spotted me the first several times. But each time after a few seconds passed and either the fight music started playing or a group of guards would come in through that gate that is right next to the cook, I figued why waste my time?

If touching your hand to a hot stove 3 previous times gives you a burn, why would you think you would get a different result on the 4th, 5th or 6th time?

The only reason I was able to figure it out finally was because I tried sneaking back around the tent he is in front of. I knew he would spot me if I tried to go past, but I figured maybe I could get close enough before he spotted me to knock him out. And when I got close to him to try and knock him out I noticed the "Cast Axii Sign" prompt.

You see, the solution to this stealth scenario runs contrary to what someone with a working brain would think is the solution.

that's just a cosmetic complaint (not saying it's not valid though). I think you'd just be happy if they added in a "side-step" or some other "avoid attack" animation other than roll spamming.

I had the same thing happen with each cut from the interrogation to the next scene in the Prologue. It stopped automatically changing once I got past the Prologue. I hope they fix this bug with the next patch.
2. When meeting with Loredo and leaving the swords in the chest at the gate, when I picked them up again all the runes from both of them were missing.
time to move this to the main witcher forums

White Raffard's Decoction, Virga, Swallow, and two points in Catalysis should make you decently good at tanking. +82% vitality, +32% armor, +305% resistances to poison/incineration/bleeding, +2 vitality regeneration in combat. Combine with two points in Invincible for yet more vitality and damage reduction.

no, it should be in the core game, that does not make it feel any better
Alchemy *is* in the core game. It's your choice if you choose not to use it, much as it's your choice if you choose not to pick up any Swordsmanship skills.
