cloud8521: well, theres something weird with the weather. It will be raining, but then if you go though a gate to the wilderness the rain will suddenly stop and it will be sunny.

that is just odd and should be fixed.

also while on the topic of zones and such. i noted that i have been hitting loading screens in this seamless environment too much. i will be walking though a field then suddenly, the game will stop and start loading for second then drop me right back where i was. there are times when it will load seamlessly but other times not.

Dinasis: Seen this as well, the weather thing is pretty odd. In addition to suddenly walking into a rainstorm, I've seen the sky color show noticeable changes between one side of a door and the other.

As to the loading and if someone wants to correct me if I'm wrong, but changing the Texture Memory Size in the Advanced Options might help with this. When it stops to load, I think its just trying to load too much at once and dump stuff it doesn't think will be needed in the immediate future. A warning from the readme.txt, dedicating too much memory to the in-game textures "can also cause the graphics card to run out of memory and even result in game crashes."
your right about the part about it changing colour when leaving certain areas. Its very easy to notice.

as for the second part, who knows. for one they never really give idication on how much you need to have what setting.
I'd like to be able to play in full screen mode. This game already burned out my video card (literally), and now that I've upgraded I don't want to deal with crappy windowed mode.

Also, it would be nice if there was an official way to map the up/down keys for us lefties. Manually editing user.ini is an insult.

Yeah that was part of the reason why it blew. I was out of a computer for a week so I didn't realize 1.1 came out, good to see that my two complaints were fixed. However, now I'm running a 560 Ti and the game still runs like shit, even on medium settings. Hmm...
Don't include an alchemist skill tree if you don't intend to give time to allow Geralt to meditate and drink them before boss fights

Just as an update, I forwarded this thread to the devs and I got a response saying they'd let the devs know....except my email was simply forwarded to someone I already included in the original email. Hrm.

Yeah, I dunno man. All of my specs exceed the recommended requirements, but I'm still getting horrible lag.

cool, to bad it may just get lost. but that's why we gotta bring it to the forums themselves and keep it top of the pile. something in their face so we at-least get a response.

what about your cpu?
Gvaz dude, you need to put things into sub-categories. As of now, the three posts look rather, ehmm, intimidating.

Great job collecting the feedback.

he did ask for category ideas.
i would scrap W2, start making a new and actual good game instead of just a shiny new engine
- Pan the camera behind Geralt down and back a bit, or allow for a camera option to have this setting.

Nuuuuuh, don't pan it, it is perfect as it is now :3 Optional please!!!

As per the list of bugs, I think this is the thread I was directed to post one. The message from Thaler in chapter 1, make it dependant on if Thaler was alive or not in TW1 (assuming you imported a save of course) It totally breaks the sense of 'my game/my story'.
