Hi Guys,

I got this nagging question behind my back telling me to find out wtf this song is?

it basically plays when you're on Roche's path in the end of Act2 when you're assaulting Vergen near Phillipa's house when met by Henselt, it plays in the background in this video 0:00 till about 0:40 before the fight starts.

This song isn't in the soundtrack anywhere I've checked and doublechecked I'm sure.

I hope you don't mind me sneaking in your thread, but in the same note, I really like the music which plays during the "STEALTH" sequences in the game. In the prison and in the Flotsam chapter when we sneak through an area to eavsdrop. I cannot find it in the soundtrack either.

Any ideas?
When you preorder the game on GOG.com, you get 4 bonus tracks that do not appear on the soundtrack .zip that you get withthe full game.

Has any of you checked those?.
yep, no luck there.

This is a Mass Effect syndrome where the "Full Soundtrack" really isn't full at all, just a collection of some tracks the devs want you to hear and not all of it.
Then you are probably right. The only thing that comes up is that you might want to grab your headphones and listen carefully to all the songs you have.

I have noticed that they tend to use parts of the same song for different moments which sometimes confused me, because sometimes I would notice some familiar tune from the game after listening the first 3 minutes of some song that began differently.

Sorry for not being able to help you more.

The closest thing that sounds like it is possibly track #21 "howl of the white wolf" it has the same percussion structure but lacks the melody of the Vergen Assault music.
Thats as far as I've gotten in my little detective work.
