Can we get some offical word on when t his will be out and everything in it?

Just give us a date already! It's really not that hard.

It is not hard to give the date, but it is hard to actually release the patch according to the specific date. They might face another backlash if the patch come out late from the announced date. The good thing is they're working on that patch and reply to the poster question. So that mean they still care about the game and work hard to make it better; which is the most important thing.

They actually ahve to make sure that the patch fixes the things it's supposed to. What good is giving a date only to find that the patch didn't address or fix the main issues?

I do programming for a living and I hate it when my boss wants me to give him a date when some bug will be fixed. It's just guesswork. It'll be fixed when it's fixed and not one second before or after that time.
