Yeah can anyone actually play the game with ubersampling on and still get above 35fps?

Everyone is saying to turn it off, but this means the game will be a jagged mess.

Has anyone forced AA on nvidia control panel, does it work, how does it affect performance?
This. Can anyone make an 1080p video (with high bitrate so youtube leave the "original" option) of gameplay with ubersampling? I would like to see what is it and how its look. Thanks :)
No ubersampling doesn't mean a jagged mess. AA still works without it
The game looks and plays amazingly.......without ubersampling. I've got every other setting on ultra, and some anti aliasing enabled in my control panel. It looks great and runs very smoothly (I dont know what framerate, but i assume its above 30 as it runs fluidly with no jerkiness).

With ubersampling, the game is simply unplayable, so it'd be interesting to see some video of it in action
Core 2 Duo 2.4, GTX 560ti on a TV (reso 1200*690) here.
All the stuff maxed out including ubersampling, with the sole exception of motion blur.

The low resolution of the TV is almost a blessing, heh.
@Teknoir

Lol I was thinking of playing this game on my tv too

Thanks for info

I have a q6600 2.8ghz, 6gb ram, gtx 560ti

My tv is 37" 1366x768, that lower resolution does help with some games lol

With 360 controller support I might do it, but I love my Samsung 23" LED monitor so much , i feel bad not using it
My PC: i-7 950 cpu, 12 GBs Ram, nVidia GTX 580

With every setting maxed out, at a 1920x1200 resolution, WITHOUT uber-sampling, I manage to get a stable 60fps.
With ubersampling turned on, the frame rate drops to about 15-20 fps. Unplayable. And to be honest, I took some screenshots, and I hardly see any major differences (which would justify the performance hit at least).

Other than that, I am LOVING the game.
running ultra no ubersampling @ 1920x1080

Runs great 55~62fps

quad core 2.8ghz
6gb ram
geforce gtx 560ti

I still think it looks jagged as hell.

Goddamn you ubersampling!

I'm playing without ubersampling and the game is smooth. Anti-aliasing is still on.

Can you post screenshots to compare?

are you guys forcing AA through your nvidia control panel?

I'm at work so i can't take any pics

I guess i will try to force AA and see if that will help with how jaggy it all looks
Did some testing with all graphical settings set to ultra (with ubersampling activated)

result: 19-22 fps (in flotsam).

It doesn't seem to get much lower than this. There is a noticeable input lag but that might be due to vertical sync, + low fps)

Still not playable for me, I need at least 40 fps

What about you all?

My specs:
core i5 2500K @ 4,5 ghz + radeon hd 6870, 3gb ram, win7 x86

edit: goes up to 55-66 without ubersamp, vertical sync, and depth of field effects.
Graphics are indeed more "jagged".

I'm not sure but I think uber sampling is something that can't be captured in screenshots.
In my opinion, Ubersampling is worthless; mainly there for bragging rights, rather than providing any real difference in graphics or immertion. Might as well leave it off and enjoy a far more fluid (and therefore more immersive) experience.

System:
Core i7 965 3.07 GHz
AMD Radeon 5970
12 GB DDR2 RAM
Windows 7 Ultra

I play with everything on ultra, everything enabled except ubersampling. Avarage FPS is smooth at approximatly 30-40 frames per secound. I will remind readers that we still don't have official crossfire/SLI or driver support. The performance will likely get much better within the next few weeks. These are early days.

Edit:
Also, I am having a great time, even with a few bugs here and there. Right, back to playing! :D

Ho it definitely can...

Compare the smoothness of hair for example.
It make the graphics super smooth. Try make 360 degree turn. You don't think they put that one for fun without any effect?
