In the still relatively short time since The Witcher 2 was released, we have seen many instances of community members helping each other with information, suggestions, solutions to issues, etc. And we want to be sure you know how much CDP RED appreciates this. It's easy to think of a game as just a game, but for many people, the experience of a game is more than that, with community usually a key element. So our thanks to everyone who has contributed positively to ours.

Coala edit:
I only wanted to assure you that this guy really belongs to CDP RED team :)

I had a really good experience with your customer support concerning TW2. Namely, Marcin Krzysiak, Andrzej Kwiatkowski, Krzysztof Justyński. and Karolina Niewęgłowska. Beyond that, I am very thankful for all that you have done for the game and continue to do. Just wanted to show the gratitude that I meant to express earlier.
I hate to bother you but are you guys aware of the performance issues people using 3D Vision are seeing in some parts of the game when playing in 3D? Specifically, certain indoor areas like the tavern in Flotsam and the prison escape from the prologue we are seeing frame rates drop sometimes into the single digits. Here is a thread at the official Nvidia forum for reference. Without an official forum there is no real way to get feedback to you guys. The latest Nvidia drivers did nothing to fix this issue and I am hoping someone is at least aware of this and working on it. Great game by the way!

The game is masterpiece. Are you guys reading the "improvements and future DLC/ Expansions" posts? I truly hope so. ;)
pity cdp isnt being as supportive as the community here is... we help each other because we know we cant count on anyone else, especially cdp. -you guys have kept your forum down long enough trying to avoid us, our thoughts, our opinions and our questions - why dont you show the gamers some support and put it back up?

have never seen such a terrible act towards their customer base from a developer where they shut down their forums for over a month just to AVOID their customers... thats just terrible.

you guys used to be so.. SO much better than this... ive lost such a massive chunk of respect for you guys over the forum issue... you used to care about the community so much more - what happened, cdp? why are we so much of a burden to you?

Tears of joy. What a simply delighful group of people you are at CDP and GOG. If everyone in the world was half as kind, thoughful and considerate (and good at making games) we would live in a beautiful world.

When did they say they were purposely avoiding their customers? I know from experience that they are not. I asked this in another thread but - what would an official forum do that this forum has not already? GoG is a fantastic forum and you can pretty much find the answer or at least a thread about all current issues right here at GoG.
I hope CDPR can keep their fine group together and focus on purpose before profit for some while yet. That is what has attracted other fine folks.

Best wishes!
if you care about the community so much why isn't the forum up?

Plain unfair. They read (and occasionally post) on these forums. They addressed A LOT of issues in the comments section of thewitcher.com - even though many people were just rude or insulting. I heard a lot of good (and some bad) about their e-mail support.
I'm sure CDPR is just as unhappy about the long absence of official forums as 'we' are.

On a more cheerful note: Thanks to CDPR for working so hard on providing solutions and being so open about what you're about to do and what you plan!
And special thanks to all the good people here, who try and solve many, many issues!

this is a bit exaggerated (I can think of many more worse things) but it is a bad move nonetheless

a month. it does not take ANYONE a month to put a forum up. and no business in the world 'accidentally' crashes their forum in the WEEK leading up to a massive product launch, and keep it down for the 3 weeks following. please stop looking at cdp through rose-tinted glasses.

a week without the forum, fair enough... accidents happen.

but a MONTH... for a business in the middle of a massive launch? its just gone beyond ridiculous to suggest that this is an accident or a technical issue.

i mean i get it... in the past they were amazing... it was like a dream, finally a pc developer that cared about its products and its community! and at a time they DID! they totally totally DID care about us!

but i think one thing we should ALL know is that just because they cared at one time doesnt mean they will always care... just because we rightfully loved them once, doesnt mean we should ever blindly love them forever no matter how badly they behave...

if anything, i just hope if ENOUGH of us call them out on their behavior this time, then perhaps they will be able to change back tot he developer i used to love... whats the alternative? that we watch them continue along this path and have another typical generic non-caring developer? do we really need more EAs and Activisions in the world?

lets help THEM better themselves... dont look at this as hate, look at it as trying to help them do better...

I share this posts sentiments exactly. I really cannot fathom how that guy can get all up in arms about a game's official forums. A lot of great games have primary forums that are not official. (Starcraft 2 = teamliquid; best example)

And GoG is kind of like CDPR anyway...
im just amazed so many people see the developer taking down the forum (at a time when people have the MOST concerns and issues requiring developer attention) and not bothering to bring it back up as a NON ISSUE. how does that NOT scream 'we dont care' to you guys?

Because GoG is actually almost an official forum anyway since CDPR and GoG are directly related? Because there is a thread and/or answer for almost every issue in TW2 on GoG already?

Customer Service helped me out with a huge issue, and the response time was fabulous. Hating on CDPR because they don't have an official forum when they've released such an amazing game and support the community here on GoG already anyway is the most ungrateful and asinine thing you could do.
