I can't figure out what the Special Action key does.

I've played the game twice, and I've only ever seen an on-screen prompt for it once each time.

And that was for Chapter 2 in the fight arena.

I can't believe they would dedicate one key just to that action?

Maybe it's because of the build I used (swordsman and mage) or path I took (Roche), but I doubt it.
Hamnoo?

The key you press to yield when fighting in the arena. Apparently it has its own key binding, but it's true, I've never seen it used anywhere else, either. Not that I can recall, anyway.

Oh well, as a magic specialist you never need to yield in the arena, or is that cheating in a fighting ring? ;)
But I'll have a look next time I get there (with the gamepad, which doesn't have extra buttons).

It's the right stick button on a gamepad.

And it doesn't make any difference what build you have, you still get the option in the arena.

Right, that one was free otherwise. That's probably the reason to implement this yield button, so all the buttons of the pad can be used. ;)

I didn't mean I'd not get the option with magic, but that you actually don't need to yield, because nobody ever comes close enough.
I really don't get why they'd dedicate a button just for a single fight.

And it's the F button, one of the most accessible so you'd think they would use another one.

I'm thinking that Special Action played a bigger part in the original concept/build, but it's role diminished in the final release.
