My PC is pretty damn close to minimum

C2Duo e6600 @ stock (2.6ghz)
2gb Ram
4850 512mb graphics

which would normally read to me "Don't even try it buster". Still it doesn't look like a demo is forthcoming and I would like to play if possible. Can I expect a decent framerate with everything turned down to minimum but at a decent resolution or would I be better off just waiting till I can upgrade my PC?

I ran TW2 on these specs except the processor - I have C2Duo 3.0 Ghz - in 1280x1024 on medium details pretty flawlessly. I added 2 GB of RAM and now I run it on High with no performance issues.

It exceeds the minimum requirements, and the minimum requirements for this game are very conservative. You should be OK on medium settings. Gregski's right, though; you really want more RAM.

It depends on how many FPS you expect. I play on Dual Core 5200 2 GB, GTX 460 768MB, with everything on max and 1024x768 and gameplay is fluent(at least for me).

If I can consistently get 30fps with only a few drops down into the 20s that would be fine. Unfortunately I have a crap motherboard that only accepts 2 gig so a RAM upgrade wouldn't end up being cheap or simple. Between what people say though it sounds promising, I have a worse card than Palimpsest and a worse processor than Gregski but if both could run it fine then I should too I reckon.

I suggest trying MID settings and adjusting them to LOW if it's bad. The game on LOW still looks very decent.
