It does not happen with every game i play. So i bet that she liked TW2 as much as i did. She cant talk so the pictures will speak for herself as a review . Look at her ears, she was listening to dialogs and music surrounded by 6 speakers all the time. And look at the last picture, taken the next day after i've finished the game, its like "what? no Witcher today?". I think she was a bit disappointed that TW2 is so short in single play through as most of us.
Now, does her opinion count?? She's 15 years old. She listened/seen most of cRPG games since Baldur's Gate, so she knows whats good ;].
Her name is Sticky btw.

15 years old you said? Em I think she don't meet the age requirement to play this game
Awww, she is adorable! Her opinion counts more than those of professional reviewers ;)

I played most of TW2 with a budgie on my shoulder. I love it when pets love games as much as I do :D

I would trust a cat before I trusted a professionally-written review. Besides, cats are known to have refined tastes and you never hear of fancats (as opposed to fanboy and fangirl), so her opinion counts doubly so.

That second picture gave me an "awww"-gasm.

EDIT: Damn. My zing on professional reviews got ninja'd by dnna :(

At 15, she's actually 76, more than qualified to have an informed opinion. :)
She's cute! Wow 15 years old, definitely living her life to the fullest. I can tell by the pics she is well taken care of, nice job.

You play with a bird on your shoulder? Confirmed real-life pirate.

*I had no idea what a budgie is and had to google it, so if it's not a bird... blame google.

Stop that! We're not lavishing praise on the adorable cat, we're assessing her journalistic credentials.

Why do people keep saying that TW2 is short? First play through for me was about 50 hours. Are you guys skipping the dialogue and side quests?

I don't know about the actual hours, because they forgot to implement the timer, but I've played from May17 to June15 the first time. Given, I had about a week when I could not play, but the rest of the time I played lots of hours a day.
I often stroll around, just admiring the beautiful scenery and sometimes I need a half hour to mull over a decision. :) I did a lot of exploring and I still missed things. I never even got my tattoo, dammit!

But back on topic: I like Stickys review, she obviously has good taste. Maybe she rushed things a bit because of her old age, so she could be sure to live to see 16 endings?

She will definitely see 4 out of those 16, since before taking the other path in Act II we already think of different routes and decisions in one we took ;].
We're just waiting for another few spare days for that.
As for a time of playthrough it took us 3 whole days with breaks for food, sleep etc. And at 4th day at the morning, You can see what happened on last pic, she was ready for more.
I really cant remember how many years have passed since last time that we've seen such game, that kept us by the monitor so strongly. Me aside, but what about her, she has plenty of more comfortable places for taking naps than mouse pad where something is moving, touching and pushing her all the time.

Since we're on the pet thing...

Yes, I have a couple of cats that roam/own the house... They normally don't take much interest in what's going on while I'm playing, but a few years back when I was playing Witcher 1 - both of them would get really upset at the yelping that the dogs would make when you killed them for their loot. Remember that?

It must have been a pretty realistic yelp for the cats to think it was real.

She is the perfect critic. At 15, she is definitely living a good life. Haven't had a cat for some time. My last one "Smokey" got Cancer and had to be be out to sleep, but he had a lot of years. I do have a 2 Year old Shar Pei though. He is very nosey.

Yeah, it's a type of small parrot :) She likes chirping along to sounds of battle, it's quite a party in here. Here are some photos of her if you want to see [/shameless pet promo]

Sorry for hijacking what could have been a serious discussion thread. Your review of the review was beautiful, eloquent, made me want to grow some neat moustache and put on a monocle and drink tea.
Awesome cat is awesome. And she has good taste in games.

@AudreyWinter: I just finished the game last night as well. Interesting that we both took exactly the same amount of time to get through it (I also had to take a few days hiatus due to various circumstances).

Beautiful art, girl! But... you don't like Geralt's nose? Really? Was the first thing that fascinated me about him (the line from forehead to nose, specifically).

@Coelocanth: I guess we both like to savor a good game instead of rushing through, ey? ;)
Let's see how long the second run lasts, need to look for stuff I missed before and of course I take the other path this time (saved the best for last deliberately).
