Is there any way to tell what books you have read or do you have to keep all of them in your inventory and scroll through them whenever you find a new vendor that sells books?

I have only found one vendor that sells books so far, I am not that far into the game so I am just assuming that different vendors sell the same books.

Thanks!

As far as I know, no (obviously you can look at your knowledge tab or memorize them, but neither options are realistic when you're in the shop window looking at books wondering which ones you already have). Which is a big pain.

The good news is that yes, they tend to stock earlier books as well if you missed one. Buying the books was always the first thing I did when possible for each Act.

Any idea if vendors stock books you have already read though?

....yes, or it wouldn't be a problem wondering if you'd read the book already, as I noted in my previous response. ;p It actually is a bad thing since the latter merchants have a lot of books and you're left with an even harder time trying to remember which ones you already have/know. :p I had a number of instances where I ended up with multiple copies. Good thing books are relatively cheap.

Exactly. I guess I shall just be keeping all my books then, don't want to go wasting money now. Thank you good sir for the assistance.
I wish you could tell if you've read a book or not.

Yea, the whole book/recipe thing was a big step back from the first game.
