I had no problem to install or launch the game, but...

The game always crash about 10-15 minutes in.
It doesn't matter what graphics options I select (the launcher tells me to go with High btw ; tried setting everything to low and run in windowed mode, didn't change anything)
I also don't have any performance issue ; the game runs flawlessly ... Until it crashes.

It doesn't seem to be tied to any in-game event either (does it wether I'm in combat, exploring, during a dialog/cutscene) and is quite nasty : the image & sound would freeze, and force me to manually power off my PC (no response to Alt + F4 or Ctrl + Alt + Del)

Has anyone encountered this and/or have any idea as to what might cause it ?

My specs :
-Intel core 2 quad
-ATI Radeon 4890
-4 GB RAM

exact same thing happens to me, just goes black screen, with sometimes a faint bit of static in the middle.
i had that with witcher 1. i woudl need to make sure to save often because randomly it woudl crash. could be 10 minutes, could be 3 hours.

kind of weird, same computer no upgrades and the witcher 2 looks insanely better, runs smoother and no crashing for me.
In fact, I think the game causes my graphics drivers to crash, paralyzing my computer and causing my GPU to overheat (60°C just before crash, 80+ just before I lose control).

Weird and kinda scary ; really hoping the planned TW2 hotfix will fix this...
