I've done the corrupt part 2 fix and everything was running fine until the assault cutscene, the one where Geralt and the King get out of the tower and start the siege, where the scene would freeze for a couple of seconds. I've also noticed that load times seem to be much longer now. Anyone got a fix to this?

Same problem. Do you have an NVIDIA card? There seem to be a lot of us who are experienceing incredibly slow cutscenes.
Load times are the same for me, but yeah cutscenes have terrible performance (and yes I'm using Nvidia). I had to turn off cinematic DoF to fix it, whereas they used to run fine with that setting turned on.
just to make it clear, it's not an nvidia problem, this also happens using ATI/AMDs
I'm posting this in a lot of threads related to the similar issue, excuse the repetition, but the fix from here http://www.gog.com/en/forum/the_witcher_2/possible_stutter_fix_worked_for_me_single_gpu fixed the cutscenes completely for me.

not a working fix because it's not stuttering that we are experiencing, it's much worser fps everytime cinematic depth of field is used. Disabling it brings the performance back. Before the patch the game performed well even with that effect but it seems it has been changed, in fact it blurs the image a lot now, maybe too much
Speak for yourself. It fixed my problems with the cutscenes (dof still enabled).
ok i speak for myself -_-
