I have the Witcher 2 in my library from when I bought it on launch and I'm sure it is the enhanced edition (I mean, we all got that upgrade for free right?) except for the fact that it says it is the AUS edition. I remember reading earlier that on GOG it became region free and people who own the game are able to use the uncensored for free.
Am I wrong on this? Do I need to buy this to override the fact that I have the Australian version? Is the only difference between the two THAT ONE SCENE that was cut? I didn't think I'd need to buy it again, but now (and for a while) the GOG store pages have said I don't own the Witcher 2 and give me the option of buying it.
Let's say I buy it again during the sale - to get it uncensored, to support the devs, whatever. Will I then have TWO copies showing up in my library? Kind of annoying, but I guess I could live with it.
This is just strange since I thought I opted in for getting the region free version back when the devs made ALL versions DRM-free... oh well.
