rosiorug: I don't play much but I believe beeing able to reassign keys is a standard game industry practice, something one takes for granted. Not with this title, obviously.
Pretty much, but you have to remember that this is an entirely new engine coming from a company that's pretty much notorious for buggy releases. Such things were inevitable, but this particular company also has a reputation for going out of their way to please their fans. You just have to be patient :)

Yeah, that sounds like a bug. Hopefully someone can help you with that, because this really is an amazing game and it'd be a shame if you couldn't play it.

Just for grins I remapped movement to the arrow keys, it worked for me, no idea why it won't for others. Admittedly I had to click on the binding I wanted to change several times until it was highlighted, but it worked.

Don't know either. The keys in the reassigning window they don't flash, flicker, blink, or anything. They just stay perfectly stull no matter what I press. Only react at mouse double-click, to assign the left or right button. Very frustrating.

Well, judging by the glowing reviews, that's the case. Guess will have to judge it by the movies on YouTube by other ppl who enjoy the game. :(

I just tried it, and it works.
(I'm on v1.1 too)
Hmm. Maybe try running the launcher with administrator rights?
It might not have permissions to make changes.

1.0 did not have the remap option I believe. There should be a new patch soon, I believe they said within a week. I really have no idea why it won't work for you, as I changed it with minimal effort.

Well, if it works for you (red colour box?) maybe it's a particular glitch for me. Again, wish to thanks all for the help, damn, it's past midnight, family and job won't let me spend much time here, hehe, you kids will understand that later ... hope the next patch will work out my issues, if not, I'll just pretend I lost the money while being drunk. Double clicking quickly works every time for me. I tried double quickly at my "normal" speed and it was hit and miss, rapid double clicks worked every attempt.
