Great... After the game got patched to v1.2 those Arm Wrestling game became impossible. I and when I say impossible I mean it. Some of the opponents are quite easy other just became impossible to defeat. Namely Bargee in Chapter 1. Before I could relatively easily defeat them and focus on the story, not even with easy QTEs it doesn't make ANY difference. This quest is not very important, so no need to fix it now, but I still would like it to be fixed in the nest patch, because it makes the Arm Wrestling quest impossible to complete.

Mind that applying the patch resets your options to defaults, both about graphics and gameplay. If you had "Difficult QTEs" option turned off before patch, you'll find now it's turned on. Just switch the option again and everything should be normal.
Nope.avi

It was the first thing I did. That's the main issue switching QTEs doesn't now make ANY difference at all. Seems to be a tech issue. Anyone knows where do the mini-game settings lie?

Ah. Found 'em.

New question: how to open Witcher 2 entity files (.w2ent)?

Well crap, i was thinking of starting over since the patch's "re-balancing" killed some of my weapon stats, and im only in chapter 1

But if this is true and arm wrestling truly does become impossible, that would suck.
Right... I fixed this. It was a technical flaw. When the game lags or behaves improperly due to processor high loading rate the mouse responsiveness decreases to shit.

This is true for any game. So when you move the mouse, the game would react to this movement after a second or two. Obviously this makes mouse-based mini.games impossible. Solution either make sure nothing is interfering with your game by consuming a lot of system resources (my case), buy a better processor (also my case) or lower shadow, shadowed lights and cinematic depth of field settings (which doesn't help except for the cinematic depth of field, which seems to be broken as it takes too many system resources compared to other settings).
