AeonGrey: My apologies if this is a duplicate post, but I was watching the "hope" trailer video again today and I noticed Geralt is having a sword I never noticed my first playthrough of the game.

I can see it at 0:43 and 1:15

It almost fits the description of the sihill that Geralt gets from Yarpen Zigrin in the novels...

Anyone know what it is and where it can be obtained? It looks really cool.

Adam192: I can't remember the name but I believe I found that in Dethmold's room in Loc Muine. I've only done one playthrough so far (with Roche) so there may be other locations you can find it.

But I was kind of disappointed that I finally got the coolest looking sword in the game only to have it end 20 m inutes later. Oh well.

SystemShock7: That's the Caerme sword, which you get to craft in Loc Muinne. I believe the most powerful steel sword in the game

No it's not Caerme, I just got off the game, I had to unequip Caerme to equip this one for the screenshot. It's the Forgotten Vran Sword that you get off dethmold
