My game is updated to 1.2, I know because the file version is correct, yet I seem to miss the hairdresser DLC. In CookedPC, the file is only 32 bytes and when I talk to the dwarf who sells books in Chapter 1, who I know is supposed to be the one giving haircuts, I don't have the dialogue with that option.

What can I do to solve this?

Something obviously went wrong with the patching procedure, at the very least when it comes to the hairdresser DLC. You should have a 17kb dzip file. I would suggest reinstalling and repatching with no mods etc, if you are that much bothered by it. Or you can always have someone send you the file and drop it in your CookedPC folder.

Reinstalling for just that seems a little extreme and takes way too long.
If anyone would be so kind as to upload this file so I can get it without reinstalling, repatching and remodding my game, I would be very grateful.
Well, let's try this.

-Right click on the attached pic and choose 'Save as' and save it to your desktop
-The file is called hairdresser.dzip.jpg - rename it to hairdresser.dzip
-Put in the its proper place in the game folder replacing the one you have.

The workaround of renaming it is to jpg is because the boards only allow to attach pics.

In case you have any problems, I've also uploaded here : https://rapidshare.com/files/1546264706/hairdresser.dzip

Enjoy :)
It worked, sort of. I get the dialogue now but every haircut looks the same, short hair with a missing ponytail. Like so:

Weird.

You have any mods installed ? If you have mods that alter the def_item_armor.xml file remove them and try again

Thanks a bunch, that file was the culprit and now everything works properly.
Thanks to the people who supplied their Hairdresser DLC as well.
