Im going to buy a new graphic card and I wanted to know if someone already tried the witcher 2 with a GTX460.

Of course my other PC specs are on par (Intel core i7-930 2.8Ghz, G.Skill F3 3x2048 TriChannel).

Thanks!

Depends on the resolution. But it still won't run in Max. I doubt it atleast.

I have GTX 470 SOC version and I had to cut down one a few things while @ 1280x1024 mode.

Leave the "Ubersampling" off and you'll be fine.
Runs about 40fps and feels very smooth at 1680x1050 in ultra with ubersampling and AA turned off on my i5 760 and overclocked GTX460

I have a GTX460OC (Core2QuadQ9300@2,5Ghz/4GB RAM) and it shows no "Max"-Settings in the Menu - just "Very High".

But maybe your CPU and RAM do the difference.
i have
i7-920
6GB
GTX 570

with ubersampling off at 1080p I get ~30 fps
without AA ~40fps
I have a gainward golden sample gtx460 and a slightly OC I5-760,
didn't check the exact frame rates but it feels super smooth playing at 1080p with everything on except ubersampling.
Thanks for the replies, folks.
