I live in Germany, so:
- Is the EU version available here also, with no censorship and english language, just like all other GOGs? (Well, except Commandos 1, but there's a trick by changing system settings to play it.)

Because I wouldn't want to pre-order to find that our political system with USK etc. kills two big reasons to buy it. :-)

The original Witcher was censored in Germany ? (I know your country tend to censor violence in video game a lot through)

And just asking why you want the English language, from most opinion I have heard the German dub was the 2nd best version after the original Polish. (EDIT: speaking about first Witcher)

But I do understand your point of the question since Witcher 2 been an AAA game will be lot more visible for sensoring then the first one was.

The Witcher 1 was uncensored here, from what I read on internet. It was labeled 16+ originally, but a month later 18+.

I don't know about the localisation.

But I admit I got somewhat related question on my own side also, since I live in North America, but in Quebec, Canada, so we tend to have US censorship forced on us when it come to video game, while movie have rating system that is completely independant even from rest of Canada (through Canada rating is still show on the box also).

And you got no idea how often I see movie that are rated 13+ here, while in rest of Canada and US they are rated 18+, because they simply showing breast, even remember a movie on state fonded public TV (that was 16+ if I remember right) and you could see quite well from front a man naked running happily (has in joyful, no sexual innuendo) in a fountain for like 10 sec. That last one would have caused front page cover in journal in the rest of Canada and US if ever went on their TV channel. Don't remember the movie title, but was a French movie about a Libertain.

I guess that come from been French ancestry, less prude toward sexuality then the puritanist that were on British side of North America.
high rated
The version sold on gog.com is the same all around the world. Only the price changes depending on the country.

But does that mean everyone gets a censored version now?

That's the problem...

Is there any official response?

I've got another question: what about localization?

We probably won’t know until the game is released, but if the same version is sold everywhere, then by default, it isn't censored. A censored version would be one that is different than what you can get elsewhere... if the worldwide release doesn't show nipples, then it's not censored, that's just the way it is.

This answered my question, and so I just bought it through GOG.

hey guys it isn't censored as far as I have played because the scene where you are in the bed with the lady you can see EVERYTHING like literally and in great detail so as far as I know it is fully uncensored and I am from australia too
plus I've had 2 scenes now where geralt is pounding 2 ladies and it's what you would expect to see in an r rated porno where they focus more on the sensuality of it than the act itself
