Just wondering when the fan patch will be available? I know there are a lot of fans here, so I figured this would be the best place to ask. I'll also update this post with a link to it as soon as it is out. Thanks in advance.

I presume you are referring to the fan patch that will remove the censored content for the Australian version?

It's a patch that slows down your PC fan to lower the noise levels.

Yes, I am referring to the "fan patch" that will re-enable censored content for Australian users. I know the game isn't out yet, but it's not uncommon for things to get leaked and patches to be available before the game is even released.

ITS TRUE.

ATI had to release a fan patch for the 5870 because it was running at max and making bloody excessive ammounts of noise.

Well done sir. As for the question I will scour the dark spoiler-filled depths of the internets to find the 'fan patch' asap. Im sure there are plenty more NZ/AU fans looking for the same thing. We will hopefully be the first to know.

More seriously though in this case the "fan(atic's) patch" will probably be a developer patch released through unofficial channels. It's probably already done and ready to go and it will be available soon after launch I'd say. My guess is later this week but I don't think anyone knows for sure.

Yep. But:

1. Not every Australian nor Newzealander buys on GoG, CDPR wanted all versions to be equal.
2. Some have already purchased, and are refused a return (there's a whole thread about that)
3. Some will buy and not notice until it's too late.


Someone might say "well tough luck, sucks to be them", but luckily CDPR doesnt treat their customers like that... Even if they sometimes mess up ;-)

Asking when the fan patch will be released...

Did hobbyist groups start running on disciplined schedules when I wasn't looking? It'll be ready when it's done. If it's done.
