At the start of chapter 2 (Iorweth's path) when you have to stay in the range of the owl, if you use the group finisher (the X button) you loose your health as if you were outside of the safe zone.

I used it on the last Daughir when the owl had been suppresed by wraiths, I had around half of my health bar, right after the finisher sequence ended Geralt died.

Yup. There was a thread somewhere describing this issue. The main point is if you are outside the protective sphere your health will drop, even if you are in a finisher animation.

Edit: I mean the time that passes during the animation counts when the damage over time is applied.

If only there had been a sticky with common bugs that have not yet been fixed and might make you waste few days of game time if you happen to try the hardest difficulty.
I didn't even attack the Daughirs. Just kill the wraiths and you can move on.
