It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Ok so I initially bought The witcher 2 on steam a few days ago, it downloaded and intalled wothout any problems, I treid to launch the game though it would just redirect me back to the launcher. So I tried all the 'fixes' but to no avail, I'd pretty much got bored an sick of trying to make it work so decided to get in on GOG as I've had no issues with any games previously on GOG. I buy the game but its not letting me log into the GOG downloader, I tried changing my password, I made sure my anti virus was was allowing the launcher to work, I even tried turning my firewall off but it still won't work. So I then tried to download using browser but it gives me the error "the setup files are corrupt. please download a new copy of the program".

Really considering going back to console gaming :(

Can anyone help?
I have issues logging in to the downloader as well, so you're not the only one!

Yeah I noticed there were a lot of people having the same issue, though I didn't see any difinitive fix for it other than "make sure you put in your password correctly".....
Well, one thing i can suggest is to try one of the unofficial downloaders put together by members of the community.

Here's the link with the list of unoficcial downloaders.

I've seen folks who had problems with the offiicial downloader reporting sucess with JGOG downloader, so maybe try that one.

I had log in problems to for awhile. My log in has a capital in it so when I put the capital letter in it would not work. Using the capital letter for the GOG website would work though. What I did was to not put the capital letter in for the download application (just use lowercase letter instead of the capital letter).

I do not know if you have capital letters in your login, if you do try this it might work.

I didn't use the downloader. I download the all thing with the browser.
I doesn't mater if your connection is slow, but should be stable.

You may try that.
