...for consoles. Seriously, they are going about this console thing all wrong. Get about 10 members of the dev team to make a cheesy patriotic FPS where evil Russians invade the peaceful bliss of an American suburb. They'd sell millions. Console players would be like flies on shit to something like that. Lets face it, they're just expanding to consoles for financial reasons, right?

Then they could focus on their real game: TW2 for PC.

What do you guys think?

Awww, and here I thought that was supposed to be a friendly offer for the opening of Grinch shooting season...
I know you guys luv me :)

CDPR claims they will bring the most mature RPG to consoles...why? Because up till now, mature RPG's don't sell on consoles. It's like asking a 14 yr old to read Shakespeare.

They're gong about it all wrong.
Did you know that they worked on FPS called They? Unfortunately(?) this project was suspended.
So why is Bethesda releasing their already-GOTY-RPG-of-all-times to all 3 platforms?

Bethesda is just releasing a console version, that's why they give a toolset to gamers to mod it into a proper pc version.

So, Skyrim is gonna be a be a childish, dumbed-down RPG-wannabe for 14teens? Hell, didn't know that.

You should have known that if you played Oblivion.

(not that it wasn't a good game)

Guaranteed it won't touch the themes TW2 did with a ten foot pole.

Oh, you perfectly described Oblivion;)
I think CDPR has been too sincere about all this. I mean, they need to make money, right? What do other devs do to make money? They make cheap Call of Duty rip offs. They do it over and over again, and gamers lap it up each time. So this is what CDPR needs to do.

TW2 will not be a major, money-making hit on consoles. Console players aren't interested in what it has to offer; they won't even understand it.

Damn, and under TW2 reviews I saw lots of people hyping for it coming out on XboX360 as they don't own high end PCs and all that. Ahh, Internet people lied to me AGAIN! ; )

So you come from the future?

I can giggle at occasional console bash, but let's get real: not all console players are dumb 12 year olds. The game CAN be successful if they advertise it right, which I'm sure they will. Hell, they even got the TW1 cutscene guy to do stuff for the upcoming X360 release.

All you need is explosions, dragons and cool graphics and people will buy.

You doubt my wisdom after predicting when the forums would come up?

TW2 will not be a big seller on consoles. It will likely sell less than it did on PC.

I won't be making any more bets with you, that's for sure ;)

But I still think they can make it a hit if they play their cards right. Marketing is everything. If you make people believe your product is worth it, they WILL buy it, regardless of if it's true or not.
