Does this version of the game still have the problem where light sources shine through solid objects?

I have both the download and the retail disc (non EE) version of the game and the version I have installed has this problem like crazy, and the fixes that used to solve it don't seem to be working any more.

Are you running an SLI setup? This is a common unfixed bug that affects SLI setups.

Some users have had success by tweaking the SLI compatibility bits in the game's profile; details at http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?p=22583435

I am, although even turning it off didn't solve the problem. This one solved the issue. Thanks for that :)
I know this is an old topic, but I just wanted to post an easier fix for anyone else having this issue. I'm presently running two GTX770's with driver version 337.88 under Win7 x64.

1) Open the Nvidia control panel
2) On the top-left, select "Manage 3D settings"
3) In the right window, make sure you are on the "Program Settings tab, (not "Global Settings")
4) Under "1. Select a program to customize", select "The Witcher (witcher.exe)"
4a) If it isn't there, click the "Add" button, and browse to the game file "witcher.exe"
5) Under "2. Specify the settings for this program:", scroll down to "SLI rendering mode"
6) Change it to "Force alternate frame rendering 2"

After changing that setting, my lighting issue went away.
