I had no problems installing this game on Linux Mint 16 x64, using the /nogui trick, but I cannot launch the launcher. I get a small window that just says "bkg" with an OK button.
I can launch witcher.exe but all I get is a black screen with the in-game mouse pointer and nothing happens.
Doesn’t matter if I try running with the built-in Intel card or the Nvidia one (using bumblebee). I have a laptop that’s more powerful than my old desktop, which ran Witcher very well. Of course I used Windows before, and not Linux.
Anyone got a solution?

Ran it in terminal, got lots of error messages. Solved some deps (p11-kit:i386 was needed, amongst other things) but ultimately gave up.
