On my m1 mac despite the Witcher enhanced edition no longer being 32 bit I still have no luck launching it. I do not know why this is or whether its just because it doesn't support apple silicon or rosetta 2. If anyone knows what is going on or how this can be fixed I would be keen to know.

I just sent a message to the technical support of Gog about this issue.
Maybe if you do the same, we may eventually enjoy the Witcher 1 and 2 on M1 chips!

I just downloaded both games on my M1 Max mbp and was disappointed when the game crashed without opening a single window. I really do hope this is fixed soon. I can't wait to play them.

I have the same issue. Crashes after before launching. MacBook Air M1
