I am stalled in The Unforgiven... It says to get help from either Yaevinn or Siegfried, but neither are present where they should be (Vivaldi's place for Yaevin, the Order compound for Siegfried).
I spoke with Velerad, he won't help me, and that prompted another message to look for the others.
At this point, both Triss and L... have nothing to say to me.

I completed Lock and Key.
I completed Beauty and the Beast by curing the werewolf.
All the King's Men is still active, I spoke with Radovid, it doesn't seem to proceed beyond that.

Interestingly, I never got Gold Rush at all, maybe that is why the other quest won't proceed??

Is there any way to get beyond this deadlock ??

Later note:
Okay, I found how to trigger another quest to get things progressing; I think that will lead to Gold Rush, and hopefully everything else will trigger as needed.

You're definitely on the right track. You need to complete Gold Rush (strange it hasn't triggered yet, but that's what happens when the game lets you complete the quests in the order you want).

Yep!! I needed to wander out by the druids again; it hadn't occurred to me that they had anything else to offer!!

According to the wiki there are different ways to trigger it, depending on what you do. As a general rule, if you ever get stuck just try to complete the current active quests (the map tracking feature can help you figure out where, and therefore, what to do).

hmmm... one of the problems that I had at that point, was that of *all* the quests that were still on my list, only *one* still gave me the option to mark it as 'active quest', and that was "Blue Eyes", which I wasn't interested in pursuing, and I knew it had nothing to do with this topic.

I *think* that the active topic that I needed to pursue was "All the kings men", though I'm not certain, but in any case, neither that quest, nor any other remotely-related quest, would highlight the 'set as active quest' icon when I clicked on them.

Fortunately, in wandering through other walkthrough pages, I found one that said something about contacting the elven guy at the druids' camp, and when I went there, everything proceeded onward nicely - but nothing in-game gave me a hint about this requirement...

Interesting. Looking at the wiki, the quest you mention must be "Echoes of Yesterday", right? Which I somehow managed to totally skip in my first playthrough (I ignored the swamp for too long and then this quest became unavailable).

Didn't Siegfried give you a quest called "Six Feet Under"? That one should also work, and it is triggered in Vizima so it's harder to miss.

And speaking of Siegfried, have you found out why he isn't at his post? (Note that in Chapter III he moves a little closer to the cemetery, but he's in the same street). Apparently he should still be there unless Gold Rush has been activated.

I don't think I ever got 'Echoes of Yesterday'; doesn't sound familiar. In fact, *nothing* in my quest list actually pointed me back to the druids, which is why I ended up needing a hint from the forums.

ITM, Siegfried vanished at some point, and never re-appeared. The inside of the Order building (next to the Order merchants) has nobody in it at all. I had sided with the Squirrels in that first decision point in Chapter II, I wonder if that made a difference??

In Chapter 3 Siegfried moves from his original post/building to the front of the Order Headquarters (on the road to the cemetery), training a group of knightd. He should be there whether you sided with him or Yaevinn in Force Recon (the skirmish in the swamp in Chapter 2) unless Gold Rush is active.

Anyway, keep playing what you have and if you eventually have more questions just post here. :)
It's been years but i need help. I've already compleated the Echos of Yesterday. And I believe after that Sigfried disappeared. Then i proceeded at the main quest and get "The Unforgiven" quest. Now i cant find neighter Ywein nor Sigfried. Ywein is not in Vivaldi's house nor druids camp. When i press ALT on my keyboard i sometimes see "Child" in green colour. But it's always in a building that i cant reach. I think it's a bug. I've been stuck for hours.

It is difficult to say - without looking into Geralt's journal - how this situation could have come about. If you don't (or didn't) use any cheats, mods, the savegame editor etc., then upload your actual save and post the link.
Have you been able to find a solution to your problem now? If yes, please let us know; it might be helpful for other players.
I'm used to it now. Whenever I forward this restriction...

If you don't (or didn't) use any cheats, mods, the savegame editor etc.

...it becomes strangely quiet afterward.
Frankly - I had the impression from the beginning that you caused this essentially impossible scenario through incompetent cheating - and unfortunately forgot to mention it.

I understand that to a certain extent - after all, cheating is extremely embarrassing. Yet it is inconsiderate of those who seek to provide assistance. If you waste your time, that's of course okay, but when it comes to other people's invested time, things are completely different.

Of course, this is not a bug. In technical language we call it a pebcak case.
