Hi.
I bought the Steam version of The Witcher. There's an option to get a backup copy on GOG, but it requires a key, which I haven't received with my purchase (or I have, but I don't know where to find it).
Could someone please tell me, if it's possible to get the GOG backup copy of the Steam version?

I'm sorry, if there is an answer to a question like that already, I haven't found one.
And please don't kill me for buying the game on Steam :p

It's definitely possible, because I've heard of people doing it. I'm afraid I don't know where the CD key is on the Steam version, though. You could try going to the official Witcher website, rather than the GOG website, to ask about the Steam version. The TW1 Tech Support section of the official Witcher website is at http://en.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?/forum/26-tw1-tech-support/
I've finally found it. The CD-key can be found on the right side of the window after clicking on the game in the Steam library.
Thank you for your help :)
