So when will we get the proper flac files? Listening to the current ones is really painful, basically, the higher the song is on the playlist the more cracks it has :/
I have dug out my own copy of The Witcher soundtrack CD, ripped it in the flac format and I can confirm that in this version there is no crackling in the places specified in "The Dike" track, or in any other of the ones that I've listened to (I haven't listened to all of the other tracks, but I suspect they're okay too).

Are these files of any use to anybody, or has this issue been resolved and that fact just not mentioned in this thread?

(I should just clarify, I mean of use to anybody on the gog team).

It should have been resolved, but I didn't check all the tracks.

No, it wasn't.

Which tracks still have issues?
I don't remember specifically, I deleted the soundtrack after checking the songs but afair most after The Dike. Since I've got the original CD, I'm going to rip my own flacs.

Since Judas is ripping flacs from a CD, why not post the original wav files? You know you get nothing (other than reduced size) by converting wav to flac since both are lossless formats? You can easily copy the wavs from a CD without any need of converting, just drag and drop.

I haven't checked them all but I just downloaded the OST and track 28 starts having issues seven seconds in.

I applaud GOG's efforts to appease their finicky customers like me with lossless soundtracks, hopefully they'll get this feature ironed out soon.

It was just finished.
