Hi folks

I started downloading Witcher 1 directly from GOG Galaxy but the client is telling me the download size is 15GB.
Is it normal? Because the required space should be 8.5GB from the game page on this site.

"Minimum system requirements - Windows: Windows XP, Intel Pentium 4 2.4GHz or AMD Athlon 64 +2800, 1 GB RAM for Windows XP, 1.5 GB for Vista, NVIDIA GeForce 6600 or ATI Radeon 9800 or better, 8.5 GB available hard drive space, DirectX 9.0c compliant soundcard"
Hi, just looked at GOG Galaxy client and it tells me that The Witcher 1 download file is 9 GB (both for win and mac).
Anyway, I think the "required hard drive space" can be different than the installer file: usually the game installed is bigger than the installer because the files has to be unpacked.

Edit: mmm... just looked now and The Witcher 2 download file is 15 GB... maybe you're trying to download this one instead of TW1?

No Logtck, you were right - installers and instaled games weights difference. The game instaler is around 9GB, but the game itself is 15GB. And Galaxy does not download instaler, but the game itself.

I believe that is correct. Galaxy works more like Steam.
GOG Galaxy is correct
