Same problem, says the cd key is invalid, and I don't have the steam purchase email either :( oh well...

Same Problem here. Steam the Witcher 1 EE key does not work for me T_T.

Edit: I have no proof of purchase because i traded it in from steam trade so i also cannot use that option
to get my back up :/ . So what can i do? Is it possible to maybe just mail them my steamprofile page with the not working CD-Key that the game provides?

Same problem here. I don't have the receipt any more. Hope they can add the non-working keys to the backup system.

Same Here. I just sent an email to cdprojekt about the invalid code using the freebackup link. They said they will get back to me within a week.

I did the same thing yesterday. I just got a response, but it was a bullshit blanket email that told me to back it up via the key which doesn't work or filling out the form that no one has their receipt from five years ago to use.

ADDENDUM: Through GOG.com support, I was now told to email free_backup@cdprojektred.com if I experienced any problems. I just did, so now waiting to see what happens next.

I used the backup support to resolve this problem and it worked great! Not 24 hours later i got a new key and everything worked fine. Great support from GOG!

Got my replacement key today. Anyone who sent for one, check your junk/spam folder. The email with the code was in there.

I sent in a screenshot of my CDKey on steam (via the CD Key tab, instead of the receipt) to the official Witcher backup site and they got back to me within 24 hours with a new key. So... yeah, that works, for anyone who hasn't gotten a reply.
