Stixsmaster: I assume it does fix the CPU affinity problem and yes in the root or install folder the game is located in

smuggly: Thanks
Should I run the game one before all of this?
The sound fix in the updated part. All of the contents in the download get extracted or just the dlls? Sorry about all the question...
haha np on all the questions.

the sound fix part...when you download the initial zip of it you only need to extract all files sept the other zips included in it to your game install folder

and no you shouldnt have to run the game at all before using my guide. especially if you didnt buy the game off steam.

I picked them up and will be doing it in the am. Thanks again for the help.
I was wondering about the 2nd game. Does it use the sound part as well?
The first game seems to be working great so far. I'm getting 60fps without Nv inspector at 1080p Looks great to.

the sequel does not use Direct Sound from what I can tell and does not require that part of the guide.

but it does benefit from the dgvoodoo2 just as much as the 1st game

and if you dont have vsync on ingame and/or in nvidia inspector note you likely will encounter parts of the game start to micro-stutter and to solve that they best way is to force vsync on

and cutting vsync on ingame will limit it to 30 FPS tho with nvidia inspector you may cut vsync on with it and limit it to 64 FPS which is the highest frame limit the game may handle without mirco-stuttering

OK Thanks. I use rivatuner to limit FPS. The game looks good w/the guide. Thanks for it.

np. glad to hear that my method of fixing the game is worken so well for others

note tho to those who failed to figure this out.

with my method of fixing the games atleast I found out with the 1st game you still needa adjust the games resolution via ingame options menu. not just threw the configuration software that comes with dgvoodoo2

I had trouble with constant crashing. I don't kknow what part of your guide solved it, but everything is ok now!
Also ultrawide is working without issues. Just selected the resolution from the game launcher. Thanks!
