The Steam already has the patch, it fixes the story flag bug that prevented some choices from Book Two to carry over to Book Three.
When we will get it?
Found a bit more information on this at the Redthread forums.

Some of you have reported wrong/missing choices going from Book Two to Book Three (e.g. whether or not Kian kissed Anna). Our tech guys were flummoxed and spent most of last night trying to figure this out. They weren't able to reproduce it on our own PCs, couldn't find any bugs with the game logic, and many players also reported NOT having the problem, which made it more difficult to pin down — but we believe we may finally have an answer now. (Sleep helps!)

The issue is related to the FIRST version of Book Two (2.0) that was released to Steam on March 12th. Anyone who played this version only, not later versions (2.0.1 and up), may have ended up with some choices not being properly recorded at the end of the book.

Since we've only been testing Book Three with patched versions of the game (v3.+) we never caught this. We apologise for that.

So what's the solution? Luckily, we WILL be able to fix this quite easily — although it will require you to reload a saved game and replay the last few minutes of Book Two before embarking on Book Three (again). We're working on a patch/fix that will record your B2 choices properly and carry those forward into subsequent episodes.

Hopefully, this fix will be available very, very soon. We will, of course, keep you updated.

If you encountered this bug and do NOT want to wait for a fix, the only safe solution right now is to replay Book Two. We know that's not ideal, and we are working on a fix, but if you can't wait, this will ensure that all your choices are correct.

If you played Book Two using a patched version of v2 (2.0.1 and up) you shouldn't have any problems with story flags at all. Do keep in mind that the recap at the start of Book Three isn't as granular as some of the choices actually are, so it may not properly outline all of your decisions in previous books — your choices were still recorded.

We apologise again to those of you who encountered this issue. It was a hard bug to catch, and the multiple reports and save-files you guys sent us helped narrow it down. Thanks for your help, patience and support — we'll keep you updated on the incoming fix.

But we still dont have the pach althrough RTG said on the steam forum it is fixed and pached! :( So, unfair, I wish they even told uss what is going on with the gog pach.. I even tried to write about this in the steam forums but no answer.. I guess they are bussy but I just hope they will think about uss too.

I'm afraid to move on playing book 3 any furher if there is the risk I will have to start it all over???

Maybe there would be some info about this somewhere?? RTG forums, RTG twitter, kickstarter page, steam etc? :(
TLDR; you don't need a patch as long as you played a patched version of book 2 at the time. Even if you didn't, the bug is so rare the developers didn't know about it until recently. This probably means you're ok playing the book 3 release on GoG as it is.

According to their Facebook it will arrive to GOG "very soon"

Its not rare, it was just very hard to find and fix. I have the error myself and most people who played the older version have it.

Finally I tired to wait the patch and just replayed the Book 2. Now all choices were carry over to the Book 3.
But from now I buying new games on Steam only.
I've contacted GOG.com support and I've got this answer:
"Hello,

I'm sorry for the confusion. I wasn't aware of that. In this case we also have to wait for the developers to send us latest patch. When they will send us master files and they will be compatible with the game, then we will update the game as soon as possible."

Then I've contacted RTG with a request for the ETA for patch on GOG, no answer yet.
My choices aren't carrying over either, and I replayed the last few minutes of Ep 2, it's still not working when I then click on start book 3.

Is there still no ETA on the gog patch?

they say they already sent the patch...
who lie? I don't know but we wait for a patch
I dont know what they said but it could be true. I think when devs send new files to gog they (gog) always check them before adding them here so they work, are safe etc. On steam they don't do that and the devs can add and change files themselves. But is should not take long for gog to check those files, at least if it's not a weekend or something, so there has definetly been some other problems/delays too and the devs sure did not send the files here right away the same times as to steam.

But we can't know for sure what was going on I guess, but I don't think the problem was on GOG (other than their testing maybe taking a little while)... I think RTG is very busy right now and maybe messed up a bit or there could have been some kind of problem/misunderstanding.. Of course GOG could have asked the devs for the pach before but maybe they just didn't notice the problem before a player contacted them.. I hope they both will do what they can now.

Thank you for contacting GOG support, good thing to finally know someone is doing something about this. :)

Somehow the patches always lag behind for days... and I'm unwilling to attribute any kind of "blame" for this (and least of all, accuse anyone of "lying"). I'm uncertain whether the people working in GOG's support can or are even supposed to be making statements on files they have or have not received from one of their business clients. That's just not good practice.

The patch will come... of course, RTG intends to issue another one next week, so we'll surely meet again under exactly the same circumstances. ;)
Patch has arrived. ;)
Is this recommendable for everyone, or just the guys affected by the "wrong decisions recorded" bug?
