It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

when I use gog and go to uninstall you can't it's not an option
did allow me to do the repair option but nothing changed
I had to go to the game folder and delete the game then restart my computer for it to be gone to try a re install

not sure what to do.

if I read the bottom of the page in the gog store it said something about needing to reinstall an earlier version of my nivida video card???????

PatriciafromCO: any suggestions? Thanks
First suggestion: you should provide more information about your system (hardware, OS, etc.) in order to get help.

Second suggestion: read this thread.
In particular, read this post, which should help you in fixing the registry.

Third suggestion (probaibly the most important): use ScummVM.
ScummVM is a set of game engine recreations which greatly helps in playing old games (mostly adventure games) on modern systems enhancing their compatibility. It has supported The Longest Journey since release 2.5.0 and here you can find all information about the game files required in order to play it: basically you must install both ScummVM and the game, then run the former and point it to the location where you installed the latter, thereafter you are ready to play.
