I tried disable 3D acc and high quality models, and changed the color to 16bits, and changed the advance settings( most possible combinations), and changed the compability of exe to resolution 640*480, NONE of them works. So how to fix that?

Or is there any way to skip this Police Station? I entered the garbage continer, but nothing happenes, April gets out after getting in.

Environment: Windows 8.1, Core i7, Intel Graphic HD 4000, GTX650M(Not using it, because I'm using HD4000, and it crashes too in GTX650M).

Run the fix located in the game directory. Look for "station fix".

To answer this question specifically: Yes, there IS a way to skip this scene. The crash is caused by the only cutscene in the whole game that's optional. You'll miss out on a quirky character, but you'll be fine and no such bugs are lurking afterwards.

So you can either solve the puzzle yourself or take my upside down hint below. :)

"Station fix" asks for inserting disk2...

Right-click on game.exe, Properties, Tab "Compatibility" and enable "Run in 640x480 screen resolution". And start the game without 3d acceleration.
