Hi,
I downloaded the updated version and I tried switching to Spanish subtitles but they are French!
I hope someone can help.
Thanks,
Nicolas
Hi there, sorry, I haven't been able to reproduce this. Have you altered (renamed) any of the translation files?

Where did you switch the language, in winsetup.exe or within the game?

Thanks

I haven't. I downloaded the new version (picked Spanish from the gog drop down list) I switched the language within the game. I will try switching the language in winsetup and re-downloading if you believe that could help.
Thanks for your reply.

The downloader language options don't have anything to do with the game language. I always download English installers and I can choose the game language with no issues whatsoever, in The Cat Lady just be sure to do so using winsetup instead of in-game menus, AGS games have very finicky in-game option settings.

[EDIT] winsetup.exe is *NOT* the installer, it's a settings executable for The Cat Lady. You can find it inside the folder you installed the game in, or via Settings if you go to Start Menu -> GOG.com -> The Cat Lady -> Settings

Yep, first try the setup file winsetup.exe :)

Also, it's worth noting that if you went from ver 1.3 to ver 1.4 and loaded a save game but had selected a new language, there may be quirks or errors (in fact it may not even work at all). Save game data will have tried to load it all in English, and that could cause it to accidentally load French when it's set to Spanish or some other weird instance. We recommend starting afresh if you intend to play it in one of the languages. Sorry about that.
Change letter in "Espańol- Ignacio Parentella", and try with "ñ". So "Español - Ignacio Parentella"
