They ported the game to IOS but they can't port the latest version to gog??? and this game is not even complete since you can't play dailry runs and therefore you can't get dead god??? And the devs are ghosting us??? What is this stupid circus??? At least they could give the daily runs unlocks for free or something...

This is pure trash, I wish I could report this crap to GOG

As always weget treated like peasants here at GOG. Get a refund and don't support the game.

At this point the blame lies on GOG, if a company isn't keeping a game up to date it's your obligation to demand said updates

You can send a ticket to them, I just did for a second time
I've been away for a while, but it seems like nothing has changed. What a disappointment, this is a complete mockery and contempt against us consumers. I feel particularly hurt because, although I already had two copies of Isaac (on my Nintendo Switch and my 3DS), I bought it again from GOG, on the day of its launch, as a way of responding positively to Nicalis, but I am very frustrated.

At the time, as if that wasn't enough, I had already complained about the non-addition of the achievements feature, and I must say that I was pleased when they replied to me on Twitter stating that they were working on this feature, but once again I was deceived, because it did not happen!

GOG should speak out about these things, but if even GOG hasn't changed its transparency and feedback policy with its consumers, then I know nothing has been done.

Unfortunate.
I tried to contact Nicalis via their website, via email and on Steam. I tried to inform GoG as well. Crickets from both, though that may just be company policy. In any case, as much as I love GoG and really appreciate the work they do in preserving old classics, I do wish they could hold developers to a higher standard as far as updates on GoG are concerned. I would think it would be no big deal to issue the same patch here that they currently have on Steam. It does seem to just be general apathy at best towards the GoG customer base at this point from Nicalis, and that's hard to take lightly.

I can only speak for myself here, but I don't even care about the achievements. I don't use Galaxy and prefer to play 100% offline. I just want the balance changes that the Steam version presently has. As a fan of both Steam and GoG for different reasons (though much more favorable towards GoG), it does bother me that those who buy on GoG - especially those of us who bought on multiple storefronts to show support - are essentially being considered an afterthought. It's worth remembering, even if the update does get released in the future.

From what I've read, it seems what was left of Nicalis burned out on Isaac after almost a decade, which is understandable. They had some ambitious plans for a Delirium rework and some other stuff that never panned out. As disappointed as I was initially by the news that the final update is (supposedly) upon us, I would be completely fine with them stepping away from the game permanently at this point *if they could just give GoG customers the most up to date patch*.

Nicalis, put a ribbon on it and call it a day. Give your loyal fans on GoG the final update that Steam got, and then fade into the sunset as heroes if you must. I completely understand.

EDIT: I should clarify - the update needs to happen on all applicable platforms, not just GoG's storefront. However, as a PC gamer and not a console player, that didn't occur to me right away. For those of you on console however who feel you should have the latest patch available and all that entails, I agree with you.

high rated
Finally got a reply from support

"I have forwarded the information to appropriate team for further investigation and to contact with developer. I'm afraid that I am unable to provide you any ETA when or if the update will be provided.

I apologize for the inconvenience."
I own the game and its DLCs on Steam and would gladly double dip with the GOG version just to have it DRM free but tacking into consideration how Nicalis stopped supporting GOG, I refuse to buy it. Simple as that.
Well, I guess we're never getting the latest version and that's it, Nicalis is ignoring every message about the issue (while GOG does nothing)

I *severely* regret giving them money, but hey you learn from mistakes

Yes, but if you bought his game on Steam, then you didn't punished him in any way.

If someone treat gog customers like second class citizens, then he don't deserve for buying his game on GOG nor on Steam the more.

That's why I never buy any games on Steam and other DRM platforms, like @Animaitor did.

Unfortunately no updates. We are left to ourselves and have practically thrown away our money.
I often write to developers about X but get no response and same thing from GOG support. Shameful.

Of course I don't even consider steam an alternative in any way, I'm just frustrated one of my favorites roguelikes is simply abandoned by both the publisher and GOG
Achievements have been recently added, so maybe the latest versions are currently being worked on to be ported over

Yes, but.... those seem be a little broken at this moment.
Well then, let's see what will happen next and how much time will it take.
But my hopes are still restricted.

What do you mean by that? The achievements work fine for me. But yeah my hopes aren't all that high either :(

I don't see icon nor text in Galaxy - just empty places.
