So I reinstalled the visual C++ then reinstalled Acrobat reader and IT WORKS!!!!

I had the same problem with Banner Saga 1 on Windows 10 - game wouldn't start ("Console Error" on a red background)
Solved the problem with the following steps (thanks to distress84 and Ti-No-Li):
- Go to folder: ..\GOG Games\The Banner Saga\win32\redist\vcredit\2015
- Install vc_redist.x64.exe
- Install vc_redist.x86.exe
- Install Adobe Acrobat Reader (free from https://get.adobe.com/reader/?promoid=TTGWL47M)
After doing this the game started correctly.
