I noticed really odd stuff going on in the game, none of which I can find anything on online. I play regularly but then pause for months at a time because of work, so I just came back from a break since (I think) january.

Crused gloom now states "increases with your "mind speed""... what the hell even is that? There is no such value linked to any attribute. Also, nothing online.

I also noticed that oddly the mouse cursor and the game's interpretation of where it is doesn't match up. E.g. if I want to click on "global" chatbar, it highlights only after me hovering the mousecoursor 2 cm to the left and one above it...

This game seems completely broken, I tried repairing it, loaded old characters, all but short of completely removing and reinstalling it. Anyone else notice some equally odd stuff?

Some skills like "void stars" seem to miss a huge chunk of their description, I noticed many spells and abilities missing a "cost". What the hell is going on with this game?

I've noticed this too. Something about the rendering and visual hitboxes sometimes don't match up in a borderless window; but running it in a regular window seems to fix this.
Mime Speed
I'm going to guess that this is something Darkgod meant to implement, but never did. Maybe shoot an email or see if there's something buried in the forums there.

No idea. I use an addon that mostly takes care of that issue.

On a seperate note, my biggest bugbears have to do with the infinite dungeon; because a cup of piss for the programming in of the Pacifist & Rush Hour quests; or getting trolled by Exterminator because there's a ghost rat in a solid wall somewhere.

Then there's the Melinda quests. Where you get a party escort who isn't part of your party, is made of tissue paper, isn't immune to friendly fire, blight is OP please nerf, and the best strat seems to suggest parking her in a corner somewhere that you dig yourself like a peasant.

Also, the item table curve seems to be all kinds of whack. I shouldn't be getting worthless tier 1 non-ego equipment anywhere past the starting dungeons. Personally, I'd make it that on a staggered level curve, that all drops are forcibly upgraded to the next class (spread across base, ego, and super ego, then pink), and balance the table in favor of your chosen class instead of just 50 billion fucking mindstars uselessly jingling in the pocket of my gunslinger.

While it's pretty cool to have, an orange level third tier item shouldn't be so massively powerful as to make me reconsider it multiple times against ego'd final tier items. Of course, it seems the only way to really mitigate that is to play your character as a bastard.

Ah, but alas; Tome4's primary playerbase seems to consist mostly of people who want things balanced against self-inflicted masochism by only ever playing on Nightmare or harder.
Thx for the response. May I ask which Add-on you are referring to when you mentioned said Add-on "taking care of these things"? Because I tried a few new classes and I never had a problem with this game before in terms of figuring out HOW stuff works. But for the life of me, some of the never skills make no sense the way they are worded vs the way they behave.

Zomnibus. It and other links I've cleverly slipped into the text. Look for the dashed underlane.
Ah, thx man, much obliged!
