Hello, I searched through the forum and couldn't find an answer to this problem I'm having. I bought the original Sword of the Stars: The Pit, NOT the Osmium Edition, and I downloaded the install file manually through www.gog.com and whenever I try to run the install file, Galaxy opens and on the game page it says "Server Problem" in the top-right corner, and "NOT COMPATIBLE" next to the game name. I know they said that this game would not receive regular updates, but how do I access this game?? Thanks.

On the GOG site open your game library menu and select Sword of the Stars: The Pit.

Under the option that says "Install game with GOG Galaxy" you should also see a underlined option marked "DOWNLOAD OFFLINE BACKUP GAME INSTALLERS".

Click that and it will expand into a list of files that can be downloaded.

Each of these "Offline Installers" is just the games installers without the Galaxy client.

If the file has the words (Part 1 of 2) or something like that make sure to download all of the 'parts' into the same folder before you run the first one in that sequence.

If you've purchased any DLC the files for those will also be located in this section and must be downloaded separately and then run to install that DLC.

Additionally don't forget to click the option marked "More" that is beside the System & Language option. You can find any serial keys the game may ask for listed there (Although I don't believe this game uses it.) and there is also usually a Changelog found there which may be of interest.

Hope that helps.
