One of the things I was most excited about when getting this was the prospect of using it to watch some of the player-made Stunt Island movies from the early 90s- possibly the earliest Machinima movies ever made. But only some of them seem to want to play properly. Others freeze the game halfway through, and others still refuse to play at all. Has anyone else had any luck getting the original videos working on this version of the game? I really want to watch Truck Wars, for example!

The films, along with the manual and full map of Stunt Island itself, can be found here:

I am having a similar experience. It seems to be random to me, sometimes a movie plays, other times it does not.

I am also having an issue with custom sounds. Many people added custom sounds to their movies, but If I play the movies in SI, you don't hear the custom sounds. If I play them using Playone, the sounds can be heard.

Try using Playone. Still this makes it impossible to create new movies with custom sounds.
