Hi!

It has been many years since I played through this game and I recently got the urge to do so. Upon entering the third area of the game I encountered rooms with, what seems like, never-ending spawn of enemies. In this case its snakes. I do not remember this being the case and that you could always clear each room of enemies. Am I remembering things wrong or have I encountered a bug/glitch?
