I have built tanks and troopships, but I am not allowed to move the tanks on the troopships, so it`s impossible to invade enemy planets. How do I move my tanks on the troopships? The button to do this is greyed out, although I have a troopship in the system!!! Do I need a specific technology?

If you build a troopship, by default, it will be built with a tank pre-loaded. So, your planetside tanks won't be able to board it, because the troopship is already occupied. (If you click on the troopship details screen, this should become clear.)

If you invade a planet, and some of your tanks are destroyed in the ensuing combat, you'll need to refill the now-empty transports with fresh tanks.
