I installed Battlefront 2 off my old CD's and when I launched the game it said to update DirectX, I allowed it to. However, when I try to launch the game it still says update DirectX. I downloaded DirectX 9 and installed it and it sill doesn't work. Any ideas as to how to fix this, or do I just need to re-buy this off GOG?

I used my old BF2 cd as well. It's been a while but I don't remember any problems. I will say I am using windows 8 and my DirectX version is 11. So try version 11 and see if it works.
