I've had this game on my shelf for a while and finally downloaded it a couple days ago. However whenever I ry to isntal it, I get this message when it is about two thirds done being installed:

Out of memory.

My PC is a Windows XP version 2002 SP3, 3.00GHz, 2.00GB of Ram

the installer is the only thing i have running on my machine while i'm installing and the H drive i'm installing to still has over 350GB of space left.

Is the H drive an external HDD? I've seen this problem before and if I remember right it was connected to an external hard disk. Try installing it to a standard location like C:\GOG Games\ and check if that makes a difference.

Btw, if you're using the GOG Downloader, it could be that another hard disk ran out of capacity as it uses quite some temporary disk space while installing a game.

It is an external, one of those case externals, as the drives inside this pc are all quite small ( the largest of any of the internal drives is 32gb and this is where i've put most of my games for the past couple years. I'll certianly give some of the ideas listed in that link the other person gave as well a try, but unfortunately none of my other drives have space for an 8gb game.
