This saddens me. I, as probably many others, purchased the “Outlaw Sectors” to support Ironclad/Stardock for bringing Sins to GoG, although it did not have much content. I know why GoG allows such behavior, but – in my opinion – principles are important.

If developers are not able to commit to support their older games on GoG they should not be allowed to distribute their new titles.
How do we request developer, or try to get this game removed from gog if no final update for Last DLC!

As I understand it, the version of the base game offered on GOG is the most current version the developer has produced. Ironclad is not withholding patches, as some developers have been known to do. They are declining to sell an add-on. While I disagree with their decision in this regard, the lack of the add-on does not degrade the base game. As far as I know, there are no balance changes in the base game that make it play poorly when run without the add-on, as some developers have been known to do to "encourage" users to buy an expansion. Users who buy Rebellion and patch (currently to v1.94) get the same experience here as Steam users who choose not to buy the expansion.

Might as well not be on though, if it has missing content.
So you think it's better that people who want to play the base game, are willing to pay for it, and are willing not to have the expansion (and may not even want the expansion, even if they could get it) be denied that opportunity just because the publisher hasn't bothered to make the expansion available for sale here? As long as the store page is honest about what you do and do not get, I'd rather have the option to buy it here if I wanted, than be forced to go buy it on Steam or skip it entirely.
I am now 100% positive that the DLC will not be here, ever :/
Hello,

Sadly Stardock kind of lacked transparency on this over the first few months (promising to be "working" on it) but now it's been a while since we know they would not release the DLC.

My guess is that users could all individually write on the developer forums and customer support to let them know that we still expect that final DLC to be available on GOG (and basically everywhere the game was released). It's not very likely to make it happen but if it gives me an extra 1% chance to get it on GoG, I would definitely take it.

Here are a few links where you can leave some of your comments :

1%? Lmao no way even at this bet. They don't give a fuck cause of we're somewhat the third-rate customers to them here

We poor gog users will be last on every list when it comes to games, dlcs, updates, and etc. I had that stardock wouldn't have given up on us but, it seems they don't care. I bet they would care all of a sudden if they had Sins of a Solar Empire 3 in the works or trailer launch, then we would get that dlc in a heartbeat just to get pre-orders up.

Would also bet that if everyone suddenly demanded a refund on here, there would be a patch for us tossed out rather quickly. If we had enough customers to get all the other dlcs and main game in the first place, then we should have enough to get the last one also.

No, no. Any company with that attitude toward the customers, as such, should be prohibited of being published here. GOG team should do their best, to retain their image as the place loyal to people first
No more Stardock games for me. I can download Sins of a Solar Empie Rebellion with all the dlc included without spending a penny, but if I want to pay you for the right to own the same content on GOG it's not possible?

GOG seems incapable of doing what it should do; push back against these unethical companies, like Stardock, that want GOG customers to purchase their games while not willing to support their GOG games with the same content and updates as other platforms.
It is really frustrating at this point. Since the release of this DLC on Steam (September 2018), Stardock released here (on GOG) 4 other DLC's: 3 for Galactiv Civilizations and one for Ashes of Singularity. It looks like not only Stardock is not interested but also GOG does not care for the their own users.

Happy 12th anniversary GOG.

Yeah, I was about to buy this game since it's on sale but I remembered this bs that stardock is doing with us. I'm not buying this game anywhere until they fix the gog version.

GOG is too corporate nowadays, they don't care for their users like before. The good "Good Old Games" is dead.
Happy new year to all still waiting for DLC. Today I asked another question on Stardock Discord. If I receive an answer, I will let you know.

Did you ever receive an answer? I definitely want to know.
