From time to time (I think when I load a saved game), items from my inventory start missing. It's not possible to get them back in-game (right now the chili beans and the telescope is missing, maybe more). Not sure if that's a general bug with Simon 3D or if it's because I play it on Linux using Wine, I don't remember having these problems when I played the game on Windows back when it originally came out.

Does anyone know if there is a tool to edit the save files to add the missing inventory items back in? I've only found tools so far that give you unlimited amounts of money.
